These are aluminium profiles which secure the most sensitive place in a wooden window, just below the glass pane on the outside. We have been installing them in every window since 2002, but we can also install them in older windows. Please contact us about this matter. Obviously, protecting paint coats with drip flashings is desired and reasonable, because they protect the coat at places where it is vulnerable to the effect of water flowing down the whole glass pane and UV rays which fall nearly at a right angle, so its ageing process is slowed down...
