CHARACTERISTICS:
Pane sealing made by DEVENTER (Germany) is another solution which distinguishes KARO-LINE windows from the usual market solution in which the frame-glazing joint is sealed with silicon putty. Apart from high leak-tightness, pane sealing (pressed into a narrow, 4-mm groove) fixed from both sides (dry glazing) improves the appearance and class of the windows compared to commonly found, carelessly applied silicone putty, but also because of very high resistance to ageing. This was confirmed many years ago by the German Institute of Window Technology in Rosenheim, but it has also been confirmed by other laboratories authorised to certify construction materials. It is further confirmed by the fact that we have been using it in our windows for nearly 20 years (!).
