KARO makes customised, single-frame windows, which is the type dominating in Poland.

Common features of all single-frame windows:

 1. Three-layered glued window subframe elements (four make up a frame), 68 mm thick;

 2. Composite glazing panels, 24-36 mm thick, as a consequence of the thick frame;

 3. 2-4-function locking fittings around the perimeter of a window wing;

 4. Aluminium drip flashing - a profile which protects a wooden threshold against a direct contact with rain water and UV radiation.

The main features of a BASIC WINDOW – KARO-OPTIMA68:

 1. High quality wood: glued frame with no visible finger joints (!), pine wood from Nowe Ramuki in the Warmiński Forest, with dense rings (1-2 mm, rather than 5-6 mm), which results in increased strength, stability and visual quality of the windows.

 2. Maximum rounding of the edges with the radius of up to 16 mm, which guarantees uniform thickness of coating on the entire wood surface and ensures non-problematic, long-term protection of the wood and extends the period of protection.

 3. Additional window sealing - protection against wind and water owing to drainage grooves in the wing and the frame and a special fillister on the wing

 4. 2-step painting technique - improved coat, 5-year guarantee for ten standard colours.

 5. Glass silicone, both inside and outside - standard glass-wood sealing.

 6. Thermal insulating swisspacer frames in composite glazing panels - alternative to non-insulating aluminium frames.

 7. 9-function fittings - closing, opening, opening slightly and microventilation.

 8. Excellent workmanship - care about details, for example, flexible joints between a glass stop and the wing frame, which ensures protection against water, air and dust. Protection of drain grooves and channels by immersion, sealing faces and V-joints.
