GLAZING

Windows - basic version: OPTIMA 68, Uw < 1.3, energy coefficient 20.3

Composite window panes, thickness - 24 mm, standard grade, with Ug = 1.0 and the thermoinsulation equivalent to 5 ordinary panes, while at the same time being cheaper and lighter!

Design:

Internal pane:

Thickness - 4 mm, covered with a low-emission coat, invisible to the naked eye (a kind of mirror), able to reflect thermal (IR) radiation, so that heat stays inside.

Space between glass panels:

This effect is enhanced by the presence of argon in the space between glass panels

which is 16 mm (optimum). Argon - a gas with very good thermoinsulating properties - reduces heat loss - a composite window without argon has Ug = ~1.3.

Outer pane:

Ordinary FLOAT type glass (4 mm thick), so that the standard package is 24 mm thick.

The following types of glass panels can be used as inner and outer panes: safe B1 or P2, anti-prise P4 panels, coloured, reflective, ornamental, opaque, sound-proof or others. These are special composite window panes.

Since 2002 we have had on offer frames made of thermoinsulating material, that is, from polycarbonate. These are:

- Swisspacer frames

- Swisspacer Ultimate "U” frames - frames with the best insulation on the market

We do not recommend using in our composite windows a standard non-insulating aluminium frame which runs along the perimeter of the unit. As a material with excellent thermal conductivity, aluminium makes a thermal bridge in a window, which is a place through which heat escapes.

Our firm quickly applied a new solution in each window in an effort to improve the quality of our offer, all the more so that Swisspacer frames reduce heat loss through a window by approx. 5% (savings in heating costs), and they also give other significant benefits. As the temperature along the perimeter is increased by 4-6 degrees (compared to an aluminium frame), there is no water condensate in the pane area, which would lead to development of mould and to damaging the paint coat. Swisspacer frames - the frames with the best thermal insulation on the market, will certainly help to maintain healthy climate in rooms and they will have a beneficial effect on the durability of paint coats.

Windows - passive version: EKO 92, Uw < 0.8, energy coefficient 41.5

Composite, double glazing, thickness - 48 mm, standard, Ug = 0.5, owing to which the whole window has Uw = 0.71÷0.78. With just a small extra cost, we have windows that are nearly twice as well-insulated as version... More at KARO.

Windows - passive version: EKO 92, Uw < 0.8, energy coefficient 61.4

Composite, double glazing, thickness - 48 mm, special - CLIMATOP LUX, Ug = 0.6, which improve the energy balance for windows by approx. 50%. This is because of extraordinary... More at KARO.
